I be to re-use several plastic screw-top food jars for another resolve. How can I effectively remove the really refractory label adhesive from the plastic - it doesn't come

Boozer off the label with hot soapy water and then allow to dry.

To move the remaining adhesive residue, spray with WD-40 and rub off.
